Description
A lovely antique bedside cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 19th century.The cabinet sits on a plain plinth base with its original brass castors. The top surface has a lovely fixed white and grey marble top.
The cabinet has canted corners and consists of a drawer and cupboard that are fitted with wooden button handles. The cupboard has a panelled door and is fitted with one internal removable mid height shelf.
The cabinet has an overall height of 34" (86cm), a width of 17" (43cm) and a depth of 16" (40cm).
This attractive cabinet remains in good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few darker marks, ring marks and some nibbles to the edges to the marble top from past use.
This remains a very stylish & elegant cabinet. It could serve well as either a bedside cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
