Description
A lovely marble column. We date this column to the second half of the 19th century.The column sits on a square plinth base of Black Marble. The top section is also square and black marble. The circular pillar is of lovely red, grey and whites.
The column has an overall height of 42" (106cm) with the base and top having depth and width of 10" (25cm).
This lovely column remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some marks to the top surface with a chip to the top corner, the red marble pillar also has a chip at its base.
This remains a very stylish and elegant marble column. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
