Description
An attractive Sofa for reupholstery. We date this sofa to the 1960/70s.The sofa sits on castors and is upholstered in a cream vinyl. The sofa has loose back and seat cushions that are buttoned and well padded.
The sofa has a height of 30" (77cm), an overall width of 76" (193cm), an overall depth of 36" (92cm), a backrest height of 17.5" (44cm), a seat height of 13.5" (35cm), a seat width of 61" (155cm) (between the armrests) and a seat depth of 21" (53cm).
This attractive sofa remains in a very good solid condition with only surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some marks and wear to the vinyl primarily to one of the armrests and to the front of one of the seat pads which have some splits to the vinyl. One of the buttons has been replaced on the rear of a seat pad and one castor has been broken in the past.
This remains a very stylish and elegant sofa which is comfortable to sit on. It will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come. Although it is perfectly usable as is, it would provide an ideal reupholstery/restoration project for someone with the requisite skills.
