Description
A lovely mahogany open floor bookcase. We date this bookcase to the second half of the 20th century.The bookcase is supplied as a single section and sits on an open front plinth base.
The bookcase has two adjustable wooden shelves.
The bookcase has an overall height of 42" (106cm), a width of 35” (89cm) and a depth of 11.5" (29cm). The shelves have a depth of 9.5" (24cm).
This lovely open bookcase remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The bookcase has some minor scratches and wear to the finish and on some of the edges. There are a few small pieces of missing veneer chips to the rear edge of one shelf and to one peg hole.
This remains a very stylish and elegant bookcase. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
