Description
A lovely cocktail cabinet. We date this cabinet to the mid 20th century.The cabinet comes in one section and sits on four decoratively carved Queen Anne legs on pad feet.
The cabinet consists of two doors with decorative pierced outer brass hinges and a large decorative brass lock scurtion over the two doors, the right hand side door is fitted with a lock ( key is supplied), the left hand door has top and bottom catches. Internally there is a mid height removable wooden shelf.
Below there is a full width drawer fitted with drop handles mounted on backplates, just above the drawer there is a sliding tray with a glass inlay fitted with small brass button handles.
The cabinet has an overall height of 60.5" (153cm), a width of 38.5" (97cm) at legs and a depth of 20" (51cm) at legs.
This lovely cocktail cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are veneer repairs to the top surface and some wear around some edges and the feet.
There is some wear under the glass on the sliding tray.
This remains a very stylish and elegant cocktail cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
