Description
A lovely bookcase. We date this bookcase to the early 20th century.The bookcase sits on four short Queen Anne legs and has a small gallery to the rear. The bookcase has two side hinged doors, the bottom of each door has a wooden panel, the right hand door is fitted with a lock (key is supplied), the left hand side has a top and bottom catch.
The bookcase has four adjustable wooden shelves.
The bookcase has an overall height of 63" (160cm), a table top height of 60” (153cm), a width of 30” (76cm), and a depth of 13" (33cm).
The shelves have a depth of 10.5” (27cm).
This lovely bookcase remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage including a slight indented line to the outer edge of the right hand door.
This remains a very stylish bookcase. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
