Description
A beautiful walnut folding dressing table. We date this dressing table to the 21st century.This contemporary “Marilyn” dressing table has a hinged circular mirror above two leather-lined dished surfaces, flanked by hinged lid storage compartments. There are attractive leather handles to the front.
The base opens up to drawers sections which roll on casters. Each side has two smaller drawers arranged over one deep drawer with the bottom handle being a dummy. To the side of the drawers there is a hidden secret compartment on the inside of the unit. The drawers are fitted with crystal chrome handles.
The dressing chest has an overall height of 44.5" (113cm) (including mirror), a table height of 27.5" (70cm), a width of 21.5" (54cm) and a depth of 24" (60cm). When opened out the width is 54” (138cm) and depth 18” (46cm).
This lovely Starbay dressing table remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage including very minor marks to some of the edges on the table top and a bit of wear around the bottom edge. There has been a small repair to the rear.
This remains a very stylish and elegant dressing table which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
