Attractive set of six vintage mahogany Queen Anne style dining chairs.

A lovely set of six vintage dining chairs. We date these chairs to around the early 20th century.

The chairs sit on Queen Anne style cabriole legs with pad feet at the front and slightly backward curved downward tapered oblong section legs at the rear.

The rear legs continue up with a slight inward c-curve to form the back support. There is a shapely splat to the centre. The rear splats have a very attractive scroll and shell carved design.

The drop in seat pads are well padded and are upholstered in a red velour fabric.

The chairs are 42" (107cm), high with a backrest height of 24" (61cm), a seat height of 18.5" (47cm), a seat width of 17" (43cm) and a seat depth of 16" (41cm).

This lovely set of Queen Anne style dining chairs remain in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks and indentations to some edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant set of mahogany dining chairs which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely mahogany Chippendale style occasional table. We date this table to the early 20th century.

The table sits on four slender legs that are each made up of four well turned columns. The legs sit upon ceramic castors.

The legs are joined by a shapely fretwork carved 'x' frame. There is a vase shaped finial situated in the centre.

The top surface of the table has a circular top. The table top side rail features further fretwork carving.

The table has a height of 30" (76cm) with a diameter of 36" (91cm).

This lovely occasional table remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor indented lines and marks to the top surface. There is a little lifting to some edges of the table top.

Attractive large antique Victorian figured mahogany double wardrobe.

A beautiful large Victorian figured mahogany double wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to the second half of the 19th century.

The wardrobe comes in four sections, two hanging and drawer sections, the base and the cornice.

The cornice is of a stepped design and the wardrobe sits on a plain plinth base with rounded corners. The cornice has been reduced at some point in the past and now has a simple low plinth.

The front of the wardrobe is of two panel design with each panel being a large side hinged door. The door fronts have central recessed panels with arch tops. The panels have well matched finely figured grain mahogany. There are attractive carved mouldings to the top of each panel.

The right hand door is fitted with a working lock (key supplied). The left hand door is secured with side mounted top and bottom lever bolts. The right hand door is also fitted with an attractive button handle. The lock has a small spring loaded ball catch.

The interior of the left hanging section is fitted with a later addition side to side hanging rail over a deep storage drawer. There is a smaller hanging section on the right above a bank of four graduated drawers.

There are four of the original hooks to the rear panels.

The wardrobe has a height of 76.5" (194cm) with a cornice width of 53.5" (136cm) a base width of 54.5" (139cm), a cornice depth of 21.5" (55cm) and a base depth of 22.5" (57cm).

This lovely large Victorian figured mahogany wardrobe remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There area some minor wear marks, tiny veneer chips and indentations, primarily to some of the edges and around the base plinth. There is a little bit of veneer bubbling to the bottom of the right hand door panel and the same door sits a little bit proud at the base.

This remains a very stylish and elegant large Victorian figured mahogany double wardrobe, which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely vintage flame mahogany concave front corner display cabinet from the Reprodux range. We date this cabinet to the second half of the 20th century. There is a reprodux stamp on the rear of the cabinet.

The front of the cabinet is concave in design, an intriguing and aesthetically pleasing stylistic feature.

The display cabinet sits on two shapely bracket feet at the front and a single bracket foot at the rear, and it has a stepped integral cornice with dentil carving along one of the steps.

The cabinet consists of a glazed door display section above a base cupboard.

The top display section sits slightly recessed to the base cupboard. It is of two panel design with each panel being a glazed side hinged door. The door has been glazed with glass panes housed in wood glazing strips forming a pleasing geometric pattern. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock with decorative brass escutcheon (key supplied).

The interior of the top cabinet is fitted with two removable wood shelves.

The base cupboard is also of two panel design, with each panel being a side hinged door. The door fronts have been veneered with well matched, finely figured flame mahogany within bands of contrasting grain mahogany. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock (same key supplied). The left hand door is secured by a rear mounted top lever bolt.

The interior of the base cupboard is fitted with a mid mounted removable wood shelf.

The corner display cabinet has a height of 74.5" (189cm), a width of 36" (91cm) and a depth of 26" (66cm) from the rear back corner to the outer top edge of the cornice.

The chairs sit on rounded legs at the front and rear. The legs are braced with front to rear cross rails.

The rear legs continue up with a slight upward taper to form the backrest side supports. The rear of the chairs have a ladderback design.

The fixed seat pads are well padded and are upholstered in a light brown vinyl material. The material is showing an amount of wear with quite a lot of crazing and outer cracking. Some chairs have more wear than others.

The chairs have a height of 36.5" (93cm), a width of 20" (51cm), a depth of 21" (53cm), a backrest height of 18.5" (47cm), a seat height of 18" (46cm), a seat width of 20" (51cm) and a seat depth of 16.5" (42cm).

This lovely retro McIntosh chair set have been constructed to a high standard and remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including a few very minor indentations to the finish. A lovely Edwardian mahogany mirror door mahogany wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to the early 20th century.

The wardrobe comes in three sections: the main hanging section, a base drawer section and a separate cornice.

The sturdy separate cornice is of stepped design and has carved detail to its front plinth and rounded front corners.

The front of the wardrobe is of a three panel design with central panel being a large mirror door. The arch top mirror glass is thick and bevelled and is showing only minor signs of foxing. The door is fitted with a brass circular handle mounted on a shapely brass backplate and a working lock (key supplied). The handle turns to operate the catch.

The two slender side panels have been quarter veneered.

The interior of the hanging section is fitted with a brass side to side hanging rail and four hooks across the side panels.

The base of the wardrobe houses a deep storage drawer. The drawer is fitted with a pair of brass circular handles each mounted on matching brass back plates to the door.

The wardrobe has a height of 85.5" (216cm) with a cornice width of 53" (135cm), a base width of 48" (122cm), a cornice depth of 24" (61cm) and a base depth of 21" (55cm).

This lovely Edwardian mahogany mirror door wardrobe remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor indentations and marks from past use to the finish. There is a small repair to the rear of the outer left hand side of the cornice and there are some minor usage marks around the base of the wardrobe. There is a small piece of moulding missing from the top left hand side.

The front of the bookcase is of four panel design with each panel being a side hinged door. The doors are glazed with glass panes housed in wood glazing strips forming an attractive geometric pattern.

The two outer doors and the right hand central door are provided with working locks (key supplied). The left hand central door is secured with back mounted top and bottom lever bolts.

The interiors of two outer sections and the large central section are fitted with three height adjustable wooden shelves which sit on metal pegs housed in a series of holes in the front and rear of the side panels.

The base cabinet protrudes at the front and sides beyond the top bookcase. The front of the cabinet is of four panel design with each panel being a side hinged door. The door fronts have been veneered with well matched finely figured yew wood with a frame of decorative beading with curved in corners.

The two outer doors and the right hand central door are provided with working locks (operated by the supplied keys). The left hand central door is secured with a back mounted top lever bolt.

The two outer cupboards and the large central cupboard are fitted with mid mounted fixed position wooden shelves.

There is a set of drawers just above the lower cupboards, they have the appearance of double drawers but are in fact deeper storage drawers. There is a large secretaire drawer to the centre which features various pigeon holes and a couple of small drawers. The front flap drops down to expose the green leather writing surface.

The bookcase cabinet has an overall height of 77.5" (197cm) a width of 68.5" (174cm) and a depth of 14.5" (37cm).

This lovely vintage yew wood bookcase cabinet has been constructed to a very high standard and remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. These flank a central bank of drawers below a mirror back shelved area and top cupboard. The large oblong mirror glass is thick and bevelled. The doors are fitted with very ornate drop loop brass handles mounted on shapely backplates.
