A lovely Edwardian mahogany inlaid display cabinet. We date this cabinet to the very early 20th century.

The display cabinet is supplied in a single section so please be aware regarding access or around doorways.

The display cabinet sits on four long slender downward tapered square section legs on spade feet.

The display cabinet has a pair of bow front glazed doors and the doors are fitted with working locks (key supplied).

The interior of the cabinet is fitted with two fixed position full width wooden shelves.

The interior has been lined with a patterned fabric. The fabric is showing an amount of wear with some darker markings.

The display cabinet has an overall height of 59.5" (151cm), a width of 42" (107cm) and a central depth of 17" (43cm).

This lovely Edwardian mahogany display cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks to the finish from past use.

A lovely set of six Art Deco style cafe / dining chairs. We date these chairs to the late 20th century.

The chairs sit on tubular metal legs and have a bentwood ply frame. The seats are fitted with a black vinyl seat pad.

The chairs are 33.5" (85cm) high with a backrest height of 16" (41cm), a seat height of 18.5" (47cm), a seat width of 17.5" (45cm) and a seat depth of 16" (41cm).

This lovely set of chairs remain in very good solid condition. The chairs have a few minor marks and indentations around the seat and frame edges from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant set of chairs which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

Attractive Large Antique Edwardian Maple & Co ...

A lovely large Edwardian mahogany mirror door wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to the early 20th century.

There is a plaque for ‘Maple & Co.’ inside the right hand door.

The wardrobe comes in five sections: two hanging sections, a single fitted section, a base and a separate cornice.

The main sections sit securely on the slightly protruding plain plinth base.

The separate cornice is of stepped design and has an inverted break front.

The wardrobe has an ornate central section that features a bank of graduated drawers below a rear mirrored shelf and a top glazed door cupboard.

The two outer doors have shapely carved doors with foliate detail to the top areas.

The wardrobe is fitted with decorative cast brass roccoco handles mounted on shapely embossed brass back plates. The doors are fitted with locks (no key is supplied but a suitable replacement should be easily obtainable if necessary). The handles turn to operate the catches.

The interior of the right hand section is fitted with a base drawer.

The wardrobe has a height of 85" (216cm), a cornice width of 82" (209cm), a cornice depth of 23" (59cm), a base width of 78" (199cm) and a base depth of 21.5" (55cm).

This lovely Edwardian mahogany mirror door wardrobe remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor indentations and light wear to the finish, primarily to the cornice and base edges.

Attractive Large Tall Antique Victorian Oak Secretaire ...

A lovely Victorian oak secretaire bookcase cabinet. We date this bookcase cabinet to the late 19th century.

The bookcase cabinet comes in three sections: the bookcase top, the cabinet base and a separate cornice.

The bookcase sits on four sturdy turned legs and the cornice is of a stepped castellated design.

The front of the top bookcase is of a two panel design with each panel being a side hinged glazed door. The doors are glazed with single glass panes. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock (key supplied). The left hand door is secured with a rear mounted hook.

The interior of the cabinet is fitted with three fixed position full width wooden shelves.

The base section comprises of a large secretaire drawer over a further bank of three graduated drawers. The drawers are fitted with brass drop handles mounted on shapely backplates. The handles have been replaced at some point with period ones.

The secretaire drawer is fitted with various small drawers and pigeon holes. The small drawers to the left are single drawers and the drawers to the right are double drawers.

The bookcase cabinet has an overall height of 91" (231cm), a base cabinet height of 46" (117cm), a cornice width of 52" (132cm), a base cabinet width of 50" (127cm) and a cornice depth of 13.5" (34cm). The bottom section has a depth of 21" (53cm).

This lovely Victorian oak bookcase cabinet remains in a good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor indentations and wear to the finish. There is a bit of wear to the front left hand side top corner of the base section and to the bottom right hand corner of the secretaire drawer.

This remains a very stylish and elegant large tall Victorian oak bookcase cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

The room divider consists of three folding sections. Each section consists of carved panels to the bases. The screen features a foliate designed heavy woven dark cream coloured material with braid detail.

Fully opened the screen is 59.5" (152cm) high by 83" (211cm) wide.

This lovely antique room divider remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The material is showing a tiny bit of wear from past use and has some minor marks on some of the edges.

Attractive Large Scottish Antique Mahogany Extending Dining ...

Item Ref

A lovely Scottish mahogany extending dining table and chair set. We date this table and chair set to the first half of the 20th century.

The table has been made by ‘Galloway & Sykes, Aberdeen’.

The table consists of two D-end sections with two separate extension leaves and sits on sturdy cabriole legs with carved knees.

The table top and extension leaf have been veneered with well matched finely figured grain mahogany.

The table has a height of 30" (76cm), an unextended length of 42" (107cm) and a width of 42" (107cm). With both the extension leaves in place the length increases to 79" (201cm).

The chairs match the table and are upholstered with dark red leather with stud detail. The set has two carvers included.

The main back rests have decorative vase shaped splats.

The carvers are of the same basic form as the side chairs, with the arm rests continuing from the side supports and down to meet the seat pad.

The side chairs are 36" (92cm) high with a backrest height of 19.5" (50cm), a seat height of 18" (46cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a seat depth of 15" (38cm).

The carver chairs are 37" (94cm) high with a backrest height of 20" (51cm), a seat height of 18.5" (47cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a seat depth of 17" (43cm).

This lovely large mahogany dining table and chair set remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including a few very minor indentations and light marks to the finish. The pads have a few minor usage marks as should be expected. The table has a little bit of wear to the side plinth including a small veneer repair. There is a bit of wear to the carver arms including a few minor indentations.

This remains a very stylish and elegant mahogany dining table and chair set. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely large Victorian mahogany converted linen press. We date this press to the first half of the 19th century.

The top section and top two drawers of the base section have been converted to allow it to be used for hanging clothes of a decent length. This area has been lined in material.

The press comes in 3 sections, the base, the top section and a separate cornice, please be aware regarding access etc..

The press sits on bracket feet and it has a wonderful figured mahogany veneered facia.

The right hand door is fitted with a lock (key supplied) and the drawers are fitted with very ornate brass drop ring handles.

The press has an overall height of 81.5" (207cm), a cornice width of 52" (133cm) and a cornice depth of 25" (64cm).

This lovely Victorian press remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some heavier usage marks and indents to the outer sides and there are some old repairs to the press. The feet appear to have been replaced at some point in the past and there is an amount of wear around the top moulding of the base section as can be seen in the pictures.

This remains a very stylish and elegant large Victorian press which provides a very large amount of useful storage space. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
