A lovely mahogany bureau. We date this bureau to the mid 19th century.

The bureau comes in one main section and sits on its steady bracket feet.

The fold-down top rests on two pull-out supports and is fitted with a lock (key supplied). It opens to reveal the fitted interior, which consists of various pigeon holes and drawers. There is also a small cupboard with a lock which contains the hidden compartment to the interior.

The lower section contains four full width drawers with brass handles and locks.

The bureau has a height of 44" (104cm), a width of 40" (102cm) and a depth of 20.5" (52cm). The depth on the top is 9.5” (24cm) and the total depth when opened is 34’’ (86cm).

This lovely bureau remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some minor wear and indents to some edges, primarily to the base, and a small indentation at the keyhole of the small internal cupboard. There are some marks inside the bureau from past use.

This remains a simple yet stylish and elegant bureau. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

Attractive Large Antique Georgian Mahogany Breakfront Sideboard ...

A lovely breakfront sideboard. We date this sideboard to the early 19th century.

The sideboard is supplied as a single section and sits on six sturdy downward tapered reeded legs with turned feet arranged four at the front and two at the rear.

The sideboard has a central breakfront design with two central drawers, the top drawer has circular drop handles mounted on circular back plates. The lower drawer has lovely inlaid mahogany with a shapely apron.

These are flanked by a cupboard on the left hand side and a deep drawer on the right hand with matching handles.

The top drawer and cupboards are fitted with locks (no key is supplied but one should be easily obtainable if required).

The sideboard has a height of 36.5" (93cm), a width of 69" (176cm) and a depth of 23.5" (60cm) in the centre.

This attractive mahogany sideboard remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some light scratches and wear to the table top and some edges. There is a slight age split on the top surface running from left to right as can be seen in the pictures.

A lovely large bookcase cabinet. We date this bookcase to the very start of the 21st century.

The bookcase sits on a recessed plinth base of black marble tiles and four metal legs with flat square feet. The bookcase comes in two sections for transport, the base cupboard and the top book case.

The base section is fitted with two cupboards, each with a side hinged panelled door. There is a drawer to the top left hand side and a dummy drawer on the right hand side.
The base unit is fitted with blocks of black marble as handles.
The table top has a cut out hole to the right hand side.

The top section has multiple random shelves of different shapes and sizes. There is a single small cupboard with a removable shelf and a cut out flower on the door as the handle. The top section also has some natural defects in the wood which adds to the beauty of the piece.

The top and bottom sections both have metal legs at the corners with an Art Nouveau styled design at the tops.

The bookcase has an overall height of 92.5" (235cm),a base height of 35.5 (90cm), a width of 45.5" (116cm), a base depth of 23" (59cm) and a top section depth of 18” (46cm).

This lovely bookcase remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage, these include some scratches and a few indentation lines to the top surface of the base section from past use. The marble tiles on the plinth have a few missing sections to their outer edge. The lower cupboards would have originally had shelves but these have been removed at some point in the past.

This remains a very stylish bookcase cabinet. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely extending dining table and chair set from the Mcintosh Dunvegan furniture range. We date this table and chair set to the 1960s. There is a plaque for McIntosh on the underside of the extension leaf.

The table has been veneered with well matched finely figured teak, the table leaves are able to be pulled apart to allow the internal extending leaf to be folded out.

The table has a height of 29.5" (75cm), a length of 58.5 (149cm), a depth of 33" (84cm). When opened the length increases to 76.5" (195cm).

The chairs sit on downward tapered legs with the backrest having horizontal spars. The seat pads are upholstered in a woven mustard coloured fabric.

The chairs are 32.5" (83cm) high with a backrest height of 15" (38cm), a seat height of 18.5" (47cm), a seat width of 18.5" (47cm) and a seat depth of 16.5" (42cm).

A lovely very large bookcase cabinet. We date this bookcase to the late 19th century.

The bookcase comes in three parts: the base section, the top section and separate cornice. The bookcase is very tall. Please be aware of the measurements before purchasing.

The base consists of two cupboards each with a panelled side hinged door and is fitted with drop handles and locks (no key is supplied but a suitable replacement should be easily obtainable). There is a removable mid height shelf in each cupboard. Above this, there are four drawers arranged two over two.

The top section bookcase is divided vertically with five graduated shelved areas at each side and four small drawers at the base.

There is a lovely stepped cornice with dentil moulding and it has an ornately carved top.

The bookcase has an overall height of 103.5" (263cm), a table top height of 33” (84cm), a cornice width of 62" (158cm), a base width of 61” (155cm) and a base depth of 21" (53cm).

The shelves have a depth of 9.5” (24cm).

This lovely bookcase remains in good condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The bookcase is missing its leather trim on the underside of shelves. There is a small chip to the outer right hand side of the cornice and a sliver of wood missing from the bottom of the top section on the outer right hand side. There is an old repair to the bottom front right hand side and some minor wear to some of the edges. The bookcase has some slight mellowing to the finish.
