Description
A lovely serpentine front sideboard. We date this sideboard to the late 20th century.The sideboard is supplied as a single section and sits on four downward tapered square section legs with spade feet.
The sideboard has two central drawers, the top drawer has circular drop handles mounted on circular back plates. These are flanked by a cupboard to each side with matching drop handles.
The cupboards are fitted with locks, key supplied.
The sideboard has a height of 92cm, a width of 143cm and a depth of 54cm in the centre.
This attractive mahogany sideboard remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks and indents to finish and a little bit of wear to finish on the top surface. There is a very slight light circular mark to top right hand side surface. There is a later added shelf in the right hand side cupboard.
This remains a very stylish and elegant sideboard. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
