Description
A lovely oriental cutlery cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 20th century. It would also make a lovely collectors chest.The cherrywood is heavily carved with a decorative foliate design throughout.
The cabinet consists of a top lift up storage section which has a section for holding knives etc above four drawers all lined with a green baize. Below this is a cupboard with two side hinged doors fitted with drop handles.
The cabinet has a height of 81cm, a width of 56cm and a depth of 36cm.
This lovely cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The lower handles have been replaced at some time. There are some slight lighter marks to the top surface.
This remains a very stylish and elegant cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
