Description
A lovely mahogany desk. We date this desk to the late 19th century.The table sits on four downward tapered square section legs. There are two drawers situated to either side of the kneehole area. The drawers are fitted with round wooden handles.
There is a light green inset writing surface.
The desk has an overall height of 76cm, a width of 112cm and a depth of 77cm. The width between the drawers is 44cm and the height at the centre of the kneehole is 64cm.
This lovely desk remains in a good solid condition. There are some ink stains in the drawers from past use.
This remains a very stylish and elegant desk. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come. There is no key available for the drawer locks.
