Description
A lovely teak bureau. We date this bureau to the mid 20th century.The drop flap lowers to give a writing desk and the fitted interior consists of various pigeon holes.
The top ”drawer” front drops down to give access to a storage area. Below this are three wide drawers. The drawers are fitted with teak handles.
The bureau has a height of 108cm, a width of 81cm and a depth of 43cm. The height of the open desk is 74cm.
This lovely bureau remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor marks to the finish. The key for the lock is supplied but the lock is not operable. There is a bit of wear on one of the plastic stops on which the desk flap sits when open.
This remains a simple yet stylish bureau. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
