Description
A lovely French style dressing table and stool. We date this dressing table to the second half of the 20th century.The main table is fitted with a central concave drawer over the kneehole area, flanked by two drawers to each side.
The dressing table features an attractive shapely triple bevel edge mirror to the rear, the central mirror has a tilt action and the side mirrors fold in.
The top surface has a protective glass sheet.
The matching stool has been upholstered with fabric in an attractive foliate design.
The dressing table has a height of 139cm including mirror, a table top height of 74cm, a width of 132cm and a depth of 53cm at deepest. The kneehole has a height of 60cm and width 43cm.
The stool has an overall height of 50cm, width 53cm and depth 35cm.
This lovely vintage dressing table remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to bottom of the legs and to the paint work. There is an indented mark to the glass sheet as can be seen on the pictures. There is a small piece of moulding missing from the stool.
This remains a very stylish and elegant dressing table and stool. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
