Description
A lovely teak highboard designed by Axel Christensen. We date this cabinet to the 1960’s.The cabinet has a cupboard section with two sliding doors over 2 drawers and sits on four downward tapered legs.
The cupboard section has two adjustable shelves on the right hand side and on the left there is one adjustable shelf above a bank of five drawers all lined with green baize.
There are two wide drawers beneath the cupboard section which are lined with green baize.
The cabinet has an overall height of 131cm, a width of 121cm and depth 47cm.
This lovely highboard remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few faint ring marks to the top surface and some very minor usage marks.
This remains a very stylish and elegant cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
