Attractive Antique Victorian Floral Inlaid Rosewood Sewing Work TableA lovely inlaid rosewood sewing table. We date this sewing box to the late 19th century.
The box stands on slender downward cabriole legs.
The sewing table has a hinged lid that lifts to reveal a storage area with lidded compartments. The workbox underneath slides out to the side to give further storage space.
The sewing table is fitted with a lock, key supplied.
The sewing box has an overall height of 75cm, a width of 56cm and a depth of 40cm.
This lovely Victorian sewing box remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a little bit of fading to finish on top surface and some minor marks. A tiny amount of inlay missing, primarily around crossbanded edges.
This remains a very stylish and elegant sewing box. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
