Description
An attractive antique oak spinning chair. We date this chair to the 1900’s.The chair sits on four turned legs.
The chair has an attractive carved dragon to the backrest with a cut out oval shape to the top. The seat has a celtic knot carving and has an octagonal shape.
The chair has a height of 31" (79cm) with a backrest height of 20" (51cm), an overall depth of 14.5" (37cm), a seat height of 11.5" (30cm), a seat width of 10.5" (27cm) and a seat depth of 9.5" (24cm).
This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with surface marks commensurate with age and usage. The chair has some minor wear including a small indentation to the top of the back rest.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair and will continue to provide use for many years to come.
