Attractive large antique French wall mirror with religious painted scene.
A lovely large antique mirror. We date this mirror to the very early 20th century.
The mirror sits within a very ornate inlaid walnut frame with gilt metal mounts to the arch top and sides.
Above the mirror glass is a framed canvas painting scene of travellers visiting a shrine of Jesus on the cross, overlooking the sea.
The mirror glass is thick, bevelled, and is showing some signs of foxing. These include a number of small spots, a small line to the centre and some minor foxing around some of the edges.
The top of the mirror is fitted with two hooks for wall fixing.
The mirror has a height of 80" (203cm), a width of 45" (114cm) and a depth of 3" (8cm) at the top.
This lovely mirror remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. Some of the veneers are lifting very slightly and the painted surface has a number of small spots where the painted has flaked off.
This remains a stylish and elegant wall mirror. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

The mirror has a simple rectangular frame with curved edges at the top corners.
The mirror has a height of 49" (125cm), a width of 18" (46cm) and a depth of 1" (2.5cm).
This lovely mirror remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of wear to some of the edges and minor foxing to the mirror. There have been some small catches attached in the past to attach to the wall.
This remains a very stylish and elegant dressing room mirror which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

The mirror consists of a slender rectangular mirror supported on a simple frame.
The frame sits on shapely arched legs, supported by a cross rail below the mirror. The mirror supports rise from the legs to support the mirror at either side.
The mirror has an overall height of 54.5" (138cm), a width of 14.5" (37cm) and a base depth of 17" (43cm).
This lovely cheval mirror remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a chip on the moulding on the back of the leg.
This remains a stylish and elegant cheval mirror which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
