A lovely Art Deco display cabinet. We date this cabinet to the 1930s.
The cabinet sits on a slightly protruding plinth base, there is a small shapely gallery to the rear.
The demilune shaped cabinet has a single side hinged glazed door in the centre and is fitted with a lock (key is supplied), the sides of the cabinet are also glazed. The interior of the cabinet has two glass shelves, the rear and base of the cabinet have a beige fabric covering.
The cabinet has an overall height of 49" (125 cm) including gallery, a top surface height of 46.5” (118cm), a width of 37" (94cm) and a depth of 13.5" (34cm).
This lovely cabinet remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage, these include some minor wear to the surface and some edges, there are a few small veneer chips and the top surface has some minor marks. There are some minor marks to the material at the base.
This remains a very stylish display cabinet. It could house a nice collection and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
