Attractive small antique Edwardian mahogany display cabinet.

A lovely small Edwardian mahogany display cabinet. We date this cabinet to the early 20th century.

The display cabinet sits on cabriole legs at the front and oblong section legs at the rear.

The front of the cabinet is of a single panel design with the panel being a side hinged door. The door is glazed with a heavy bevel glass pane. The door is fitted with a working lock (key supplied).

The interior of the cabinet is fitted with a single fixed position full width wooden shelf. There is a choice of two rails for supporting the shelf. The rear of the cabinet has a mirror back. The base panel and the shelf tops are lined with a dark red velour material.

The top surface of the cabinet has a very ornate gallery featuring turned columns and finials.

The display cabinet has a height of 53" (135cm), a width of 24.5" (62cm) and a depth of 15.5" (40cm).

This lovely Edwardian mahogany display cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor usage marks to the material on the shelf and base.

This remains a very stylish and elegant small Edwardian mahogany display cabinet. It could house a small sized collection of object's d'art etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
