This is a lovely very substantial figure of Leonidas of Sparta with spear and shield in brassed metal on a marble base originating from Greece.
The overall height of the figure with the base is 40cm and overall width with spear 37cm. The marble base is 21cm x 11cm.
The figure is in good condition with a few marks from past use. There is a small chip to the rear of the marble base.

The candlestick has a really wide weighted base which makes it really hard to knock over.
The candle stick measures 17cm tall and has a base diameter of 12.5cm .

A lovely vintage silver plated tea set consisting of a teapot, coffee or hot water pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. We date this tea set to the 1950’s/60’s.
The tea set was made by Hamilton Laidlaw & Co in Glasgow.
The height of the tallest pot is 15 cm.
