Attractive small antique Victorian mahogany converted cellarette.

A lovely Victorian mahogany converted cellarette. We date this cellarette to the mid 19th century.

The cellarette sits on four downward tapered legs above four brass castors.

The interior has been lined in green felt. The left hand side has a covered open area and the right has been fitted with three felt lined trays that slot in on top of each other.

The lift up lid is fitted with a brass button handle and the top surface has a decorative frame outlined with beaded edges.

There is a lower shallow drawer which sits within the bottom frame and is fitted with brass drop loop handles mounted on embossed oval back plates.

There are further carry handles to the sides of the cellarette.

The cellarette is fitted with a lock (key supplied).

The cellarette has an overall height of 30" (76cm), a width of 29" (74cm) and a depth of 18" (46cm).

This attractive Victorian mahogany cellarette remains in a good solid condition with only surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the top mouldings with some small chips and some evidence of small repairs. There are two later added bracing blocks to the insides of the front legs and there is some wear to the moulding on the front left hand corner above the drawer. The front right hand leg leans in very slightly but is perfectly stable to support the cellarette.

This remains a very stylish and elegant Victorian mahogany cellarette. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.

A lovely pair of antique walnut beadwork stools. We date these stools to the second half of the 19th century.

The stools sits on three ceramic bun feet.

The walnut frame has a band of marquetry running its circumference.

The footstools each have a height of 5" (13cm) with a length and width of 11" (28cm).

These lovely footstools remain in good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a number of the small beads missing.

This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of footstools. They will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

The bucket has three ornate brass handles with foliate decoration.

The bucket has an overall height of 18" (46cm), a width of 13" (33cm) and a depth of 13" (33cm).

This lovely bucket has been constructed to a high standard and remains in a very good condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age. There are some minor surface marks and light indentations from past use.

Attractive Vintage Oak Two Tier Occasional Side ...

Attractive vintage oak trolley.

A lovely oak trolley. We date this trolley to the first half of the 20th century.

The trolley sits on barley twist legs and has large castors to aid movement.

The trolley has two tiers, there are supports separating the two and the top surface has drop leaf sides.

The trolley has an overall height of 31" (79cm), a width of 17" (43cm) and a depth of 26" (66cm).

When the leaves are raised the width is 34" (86cm).

This lovely trolley remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some marks to the top surface from past use and there is a tiny sliver of wood missing from the inside edge of a drop flap.

This remains a very stylish and elegant trolley. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.

VERY LARGE ANTIQUE CARVED WHITE CARRERA MARBLE ...

ATTRACTIVE VERY LARGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CARVED WHITE CARRERA MARBLE CHURCH ALTAR.

A BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN CARVED CARRERA MARBLE ALTAR REMOVED FROM AN ABERDEENSHIRE CHURCH. WE DATE THIS ALTAR TO THE SECOND HALF OF THE 19th CENTURY.

THE ALTAR SITS ON A BREAKFRONT PLAIN PLINTH BASE.

THE ALTAR BASE SECTION HAS STEPPED BACK SIDES. THE FRONT SECTION HAS THREE RECESSED PANELS. THE TWO SIDE RECESSED SECTIONS HAVE ARCHED TOPS. THE LARGE CENTRAL SECTION HAS A SHALLOW ARCH TOP AND HAS A CENTRAL IHS RELIEF CARVING WITH THE WORDS 'ALTARE PRIVILEGIATUM' ENGRAVED UNDERNEATH WHICH IS LATIN FOR PRIVILEGED ALTAR. THE TWO STEPPED BACK SIDE SECTIONS HAVE RECESSED PANELS CONSISTING OF A LARGE ARCHED SECTION BELOW TWO SMALL ARCHED SECTIONS.

THE TOP SECTION CONSISTS OF A TABERNACLE WHICH PROTRUDES BEYOND THE SIDE SECTIONS AT THE FRONT AND TOP. THE TABERNACLE DOOR SITS BEHIND A PLINTH WHICH SUPPORTS TWO TURNED MARBLE COLUMNS, WITH DARK GREEN MARBLE CENTRE SECTIONS, SITTING UNDER AN ANGULAR ARCH. THE TOP OF THE TABERNACLE HAS A DARK GREY SLATE ROOF.

THE TWO SIDE SECTIONS HAVE INTEGRAL CORNICES AND HAVE RECESSED PANELS WHICH SIT BEHIND FIVE TURNED MARBLE COLUMNS, MATCHING THE TABERNACLE COLUMNS, SITTING ON A PLINTH BASE. THE COLUMNS SUPPORT THE BASE OF ATTRACTIVE GOTHIC ARCHES.

THE TABERNACLE DOOR IS CONSTRUCTED FROM HEAVY EMBOSSED BRASS AND IS DECORATED WITH VERY ATTRACTIVE ENAMEL DETAIL IN RED BLUE AND GOLD. THE DOOR IS FITTED WITH A CENTRAL LOCK(KEY SUPPLIED). THE INTERIOR CAN BE HIDDEN BEHIND A WHITE CURTAIN.

THE ALTAR HAS THE RELIC EMBEDDED IN THE MARBLE IN FRONT OF THE TABERNACLE.

THE HEIGHT OF THE ALTAR IS 78", IT HAS AN OVERALL WIDTH OF 113" AND AN OVERALL DEPTH OF 35".

THE ALTAR IS IN A GOOD OVERALL SOLID CONDITION. THERE ARE A FEW USAGE MARKS AND TINY CHIPS TO SOME EDGES. DURING DISMANTLING ONE OF THE ARCH RAILS HAS HAD AN UNFORTUNATE BREAK BUT WAS VERY CLEAN. MOST OF THE DARKER PILLARS HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF DAMAGE, SOME AT SOME POINT IN THE PAST AS THERE WAS A SMALL BOTTLE WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ALTAR STATING THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE WHO REASSEMBLED IS DURING THE 20th CENTURY.
